Counsellor / Psychotherapist

BLB & Associates are Registered Mental Health Care Providers who offer professional, counselling support and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. We prioritize relationships with our clients to work collaboratively to attain their chosen goals. BLB & Associates is a well-established Counselling and Psychotherapy professional agency serving London and Southwestern Ontario. BLB & Associates are growing and are looking for compassionate, collaborative, creative individuals at a Masters level education, who are Registered Professional(s) (Registered Social worker or Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychologists) with their respected College. This individual should be dedicated to working towards and building a private practice, who are kind, honest, driven and team oriented; and who are able to work under the supervision of a Registered Social Workers; all while supporting our community. We seek professionals who are sociable and friendly; who feel comfortable working in a therapeutic yet team focused environment. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for providing evidence based therapeutic support to individuals and couples.

Experience:

  • Are adequately trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, specifically, for couples and individuals
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and support to clients who may face a range of mental health concerns or are moving through life stressors and/or challenges
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have had evidenced based training in Trauma and who also work from a trauma informed lens

Other Experience

  • Training in a couple’s therapy modality such as Gottman Method for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Experience working in, or, having begun a private practice would be a strong asset

REQUIREMENTS OR ABLE TO ACHIEVE

  • Currently registered with and “in good standing” with the OCSWSSW or CRPO
